A Time Proven Product
Not only is 21st Century Biochar EPA registered for soil and water, it was tested at independent labs to determine capabilities and best manufacturing methods. The halflife of our biochar is rated at 17,000 years. You can expect it to improve water saving and nutrient usage far beyond your needs.
What you can expect from Premier Biochar
Not all biochar behaves the same. Performance varies based on feedstock, production conditions, and particle size—so we focus on consistency and clear selection guidance.
High porosity and surface characteristics
suited to soil improvement goals.
Reliable sizing
for predictable blending, spreading, or incorporation (mirroring industry best practice for “chip/small/powder” style sizing)
Packaging that fits your scale
from project trials to large acreage

Choose your particle size
When the biochar conversion process is finished, the raw biochar pieces are too large for practical use so they are resized at a crushing and screening workstation. The output produces four sizes – Chip, Medium, Small and Powder. Each size has its own uses as seen in the table below.
Coarse / Chip (best for structure + long-term aeration)
Ideal for: forestry blends, erosion control mixes, deep incorporation, reclamation-style projects
Why it works: coarse structure can support pore space and reduce compaction pressure in blended media.
Medium (balanced performance, easier mixing)
Ideal for: general agriculture incorporation, compost blending, vineyard blocks
Why it works: a versatile size that mixes well and supports water/nutrient dynamics.
Note: Biochar selection should match your application method and soil/media goals. We’ll help you choose the best fit.
